I'm the owner and lead coordinator behind Events by Amy Melody! I'm a wedding professional with 12+ years of experience, a recent bride, an iced coffee enthusiast, and someone who's probably already thought of the thing you're worrying about.
My journey in the wedding industry started over a decade ago, and since then, I've had the privilege of working with incredible couples, venues, and vendors throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and beyond. From intimate backyard celebrations to elegant Newport weddings, I've seen firsthand that no two love stories (or wedding budgets!) are alike.
Over the years, I've also built a network of talented, experienced, and inclusive wedding professionals. When you work with me, you're not just getting my expertise. You're getting the benefit of those connections, too!
And after planning my own wedding in 2026, I have a whole new appreciation for what it means to hand over the details to someone you trust. As a very Type-A bride, I know how much love, time, and energy goes into planning a wedding, and how incredible it feels to actually enjoy the day without managing every little thing.
My philosophy is simple: Your wedding should feel like YOU. My job is to make sure you get to enjoy every second of it.
Little Love Notes
Sure, I could tell you I'm organized, prepared for just about anything, and probably carrying enough emergency supplies to survive a small apocalypse. But hearing it from the couples and vendors who've actually worked with me? That's even better.
“On our wedding day she was attentive and anticipated any of our needs. When my dress bustle was super tedious do she was on the kitchen floor beside my maid of honor tying probably 30 bows. She made sure me and my husband ate and were hydrated. ... Additionally, she was able to fix any issues without worrying me or my husband with it. She figured out a solution for everything.”
